JACQUELINE LORIEO

STATEMENT

My medical background in nursing and Occupational Therapy influences the forms and themes of my art. The human body is infinitely complex and wondrous providing endless inspiration.  I have incorporated universal themes of humanity and science into my bronzes, wooden torsos, fired clay pieces, and small handheld medals.  Each piece helps me capture moments in time and provide a small window into my soul.
