Dear Prospective Member,

Thank you for your interest in joining the New York Society of Women Artists.

Our committee is looking forward to viewing your work annually in April.

Process: Email us, please include your artist resume and statement, in addition to your website and Instagram. Upon review, we will invite you to a jurying of artwork for membership at a date and location to be communicated. Each candidate will be asked to bring the following in person:

- 3 recent works

- Electronic files of works or 8 x 10 photographs

- a 1-page resume

Candidates will drop off and pick up their artworks the same day.

Notes: Image info: Please show 8 to 10 artworks executed in the last 5 years. Sculptors should show more than one view whenever possible. Your files should contain the following info: artist name, title, size, date and medium of each piece.

Your resume should have your name, address, phone number, email address, and website, if you have one.

We will provide pedestals or a table for viewing of your work.

NYSWA, Sheila Kriemelman, and the jury members cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss to your artwork. We take every reasonable care. Delivery of work implies acceptance of these conditions.
